Casio Mini
The Casio Mini was the first affordable handheld calculator in the world. It was this particular calculator that boosted Casio to what it is now.
They started production in August 1972 and sales exploded in 1973 due to the low price. Production was at 100.000 calculators a month and after 3 years they topped sales to 6.000.000 units. Production cost began cheaper and price dropped more and more. having more sales. after 5 years production the mini production ended by reaching 10.000.000 units sold .
